Applying volume filter...How to Increase Audio Volume Online
Fix quiet voice memos, boost podcast audio, and make your MP3s louder without losing quality. Simply follow these three steps.
Upload Quiet Audio
Select your low-volume MP3, WAV, or M4A file. Our tool loads it securely and locally right inside your browser window.
Set Volume Percentage
Use the simple slider to choose how much you want to amplify the track. You can boost it anywhere from 110% to a massive 500%.
Boost and Download
Click make louder. Our processing engine applies the audio gain filter and provides you with a high-quality, normalized MP3 file to download.
Why Use Our Volume Booster?
Fix Whisper-Quiet Files
Sometimes a microphone is set too low, resulting in a barely audible recording. Boosting by 200% or 300% can save a recording that you otherwise couldn't use.
100% Private (No Uploads)
Traditional tools force you to upload personal recordings to their servers. We use WebAssembly to amplify your file directly inside your browser. Your data never leaves your device.
Precision Control
Don't guess with vague "loud" or "extra loud" buttons. Our slider lets you apply the exact mathematical multiplier needed to fix your track.
High Quality Export
When the volume is increased, the file must be re-encoded. Our engine ensures the newly boosted track is exported as a crisp, standard 192k MP3 file.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, it is entirely private. Toolszu uses modern WebAssembly technology to process your audio file entirely within your browser's memory. The file is never uploaded to our servers.
If you amplify a file that is already somewhat loud up to 400% or 500%, you will experience "clipping" or audio distortion. It is best to start with 150% or 200% and test the result to see if the volume is sufficient.
You can upload a video file (like an MP4), and our engine will extract the audio track from it, increase its volume, and provide you with an MP3 audio file. It will not return a video file.
